A Medium Bluish-Gray Story

Hola!

XOXO,

Laura.

Hi!

Today’s post comes as a result of a conversation I had with one of my sisters-in-law today, where she told me about this bluish-gray jumpsuit that she had at her store, that she recently had heard that this color wasn’t IN for this spring 2016 season; This caught my attention because many times I have been a victim of thoughts like this one, the ones where you think “but this outfit does not go with what is in season, what is fashionable” even in one of my recents #lookoftheday I uploaded to Instagram wearing brown tones that are mostly used over the fall season and I felt weird and didn’t know whether to upload it or not, so it took me a few hours to decide that I wanted to share the look.

The point of this story is that fashion, seasons, colors, etc. … can not be taken so seriously. If the weather is hot and the blouse you like that has thin straps is not exactly the most “fashionable” you have, it doesn’t matter, enjoy the pieces in your closet, take advantage  of you you already own, feel happy with yourself in the pieces WANT to wear, and this doesn’t mean you should stop trying to keep up with this season’s trends (if you love fashion, of course), but lets not limit ourselves (because I even have to include myself) to use only what is within parameter, you have to occasionally leave that area of “fear of breaking the rules of fashion” to put a funny name to it.

I hope this post will inspire you to see your closet with an open mind and be completely happy to go out, confident and comfortable in every piece and accessory that decide to wear.

Let me know what you think of this post and the look in the comments below, honestly I really enjoy reading your opinions and answer them.

XOXO,

Laura.
