What I Learned After 7 Days Without My Jeans

XOXO,

Laura

As you know, last week I challenged myself to not wear my beloved jeans for 7 days, to give opportunity to those pieces that we sometimes forget in the closet, and since each time I uploaded a #LookOfTheDay a 90% of the time I was in one of my Blue Jeans. I must confess I thought it would be simple, fun and it would be more of a phrase than an actual personal challenge, but to my surprise it was suchhhh a challenge to decide every day for an outfit that did not include my loved and cherished jeans, at the end I thought many times “Why did I invent this challenge?!” LOL. However I learned a lot about myself during those seven days:

I learned that I value jeans more than I thought; that my essence in attire is truly a shirt + jeans + shoes… it’s when Ifeel like myself; I learned that it is possible to inspire people to be better in such simple topics as a pair of Jeans; I learned that when you have passion, perseverance and patience… the results can be wonderful; but mostly I learned that when you give your word, you have to fulfill it and accomplish what you say… no matter how tired you are or how difficult the challenge.

To all my girls who want to try this challenge, I encouraged you to do it, maybe you’ll learn something important along the way.

Below I share some images of my encounter with the look that defines me, my beloved Ripped Jeans, my Tshirt, my heels and testing the new Chokers trend (I made this one myself yearsssss ago when it was a trend back in the 90’s).

XOXO,

Laura
